Dr. Yang specializes in comprehensive ophthalmology including the medical and surgical management of ocular disease.
Dr. Yang was born and raised in Houston, TX and graduated with honors from Clear Lake High School. She attended Rice University where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics. She then attended the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston to obtain her medical degree and fulfill a medical internship. She completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas.
Dr. Yang’s specialties include cataract evaluations and surgery, glaucoma management and laser treatment, diabetic eye exams, as well as dry eye management. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. During her young career Dr. Yang has been quite busy surgical volume, she recently completed her 1500th intraocular procedure.
